writing and sewing

Writing was my priority during this precious week off before the semester resumes on Monday, and I'm delighted that I managed to complete another chapter of my ever growing novel.

I'm off to Christchurch this weekend to help out my Mum and I'm looking forward to catching up with my lovely friends Caroline and Graham on Sunday. I can finally pass on a signed copy of my sister's poetry collection, presented in a pretty kimono sleeve book bag with a pink button (more to Caroline's taste than Graham's I suspect). 

Which reminds me that I must think about designing a 'manly' craft item or two. My hand-crafted goodies are definitely a bit on the girly side!
