foraging
This morning I breached the most difficult region of the basement at Jack's Mum's place. It's a kind of sub-basement, referred to by the family as Calcutta, due to the fact it is so dark and unfathomable. To extract the boxes and boxes of stuff stowed away in there, I had to crawl around electrical cables and keep an eye out for bits of wood with nails poking out of them, as well as avoiding inhaling too many mould spores. It's a nasty job, but fortunately there's always some exciting discovery along the way.
Like these two boxes of the Ross kids' old toys from the 60s.
