summer holiday sewing

My first summer sewing project was a v-neck dress using a fantastically easy-to-follow Assembly Line pattern. The fabric is black seersucker with a grey cross detail from Miss Maude's online store. I'm on the hunt for a lightweight wool to make a winter version.

Project number 2 was a loose patchwork top of my own design, pieced together from vintage kimonos, each square sewn with French seams. It took ages, but I'm happy with the outcome.
